Barclay Cornell named President, INTRIA

Barclay Cornell will succeed Bob Bouey who is retiring on December 31, 2016

MISSISSAUGA, ON, November 4, 2016 – Barclay Cornell has been appointed as INTRIA’s next President; expanding his existing responsibilities as Senior Vice-President, Retail Operations at CIBC. Barclay succeeds Bob Bouey who will retire at the end of this year.

Mr. Cornell has a broad-based business background, with extensive experience in Strategy and Corporate Real Estate areas. He joined CIBC in 1989 after receiving his BA degree from Ryerson University in Applied Geography and has held various senior roles where business development and relationship management have been key responsibility areas. In his current role as Senior Vice-President of Retail Operations at CIBC, he is responsible for delivering operations services that are efficient, accurate, valuable and strategically aligned. Barclay's exceptional client focus, strong relationships and deep knowledge of operations will be an asset as he takes on responsibility for leading INTRIA.
