INTRIA President Bob Bouey Announces Plan to Retire

MISSISSAUGA, ON, November 4, 2016 – INTRIA’s President Bob Bouey has announced his intention to retire, effective December 31, 2016.

"I’m announcing my retirement well in advance of my departure, to ensure a smooth transition of responsibilities to my successor” said Mr. Bouey. “Through the strength and commitment of our people, over the last few years we have essentially reinvented INTRIA to the point where it is much more relevant in the industry and is poised to continue to evolve in the new payments ecosystem. A strong foundation is now in place for continued advancements in cheque image, currency, and payment processing services, and for delivering innovative technology solutions to INTRIA’s valued clients. I look forward to the progress the team will make on the next leg of the journey under Barclay Cornell's leadership.”

During his leadership of INTRIA for the past 11 years, Bob developed a strategic roadmap and led the INTRIA team through several transformational projects, positioning the company for future success. Among the list of accomplishments is the digital transformation of cheque processing capabilities, including the successful launch of Remote Deposit Capture for retail and commercial clients, making it easier for clients to do business with their financial institution.

The team at INTRIA congratulates Mr. Bouey on his many achievements and wishes him well for the future.
