CALGARY, AB, AND MISSISSAUGA, ON , June 22, 2015 – ATB Financial and INTRIA have signed a seven-year agreement that will see INTRIA deliver innovative products and processes that modernize banking for ATB’s customers.

The agreement positions ATB to start moving towards the elimination of the exchange and transportation of paper documents, matching developments in the U.S. banking industry.

“We’re excited to be working closely with INTRIA to deliver experiences that make banking easier for our customers than it is today,” says John Tarnowski, Vice-President of Channels, Payments and Card Services at ATB.

Over the past few years, INTRIA, a Canadian leader in integrated payment processing and currency management solutions, has invested in new technology to provide clients with cutting-edge offerings.

“We are very pleased that ATB has chosen INTRIA to provide its customers with an integrated suite of image-based products,” said INTRIA President, Bob Bouey. “ATB will now be able to offer more efficient and convenient services to its clients by virtue of the digitization of cheque processing.”
